March Series 7 magdrive chemical pumps, with capacities up to 53 GPM or max. 60 ft. head, are the "workhorses" or the March magnetic pump product line. Self prime models are available with the SP- prefix. March 7 pump, polypropylene, except for the rear housing, which is made of Ryton for increased strength. Stainless Steel pump is 316SS magnetic pump. Ceramic spindle is standard. Drive magnet is separated from impeller magnet, preventing fluids from contacting the motor drive shaft, and allowing the motor to drive the impeller without a mechanical shaft seal. • Standard motor for this series is a true 3/4hp motor, but 1hp, 1-1/2hp, explosion-proof and chemical duty motors can also be supplied
• Various specific gravities can be handled by simply trimming the diameter or the impeller magnet assembly. Standard 3.750" impeller may be reduced to 3.125" to accommodate specific gravities of up to 2.0

The magnetic coupling acts as a clutch to provide overload protection. The broad range of construction materials allows for a variety of applications and service with most corrosive solutions. The impeller magnet assembly floats in the radial magnetic field set up by the motor driven external drive magnet. The impeller is designed to deliver the maximum flow & pressure utilizing the available strength of the synchronized magnets. The standard diameter impeller is suitable for water-like liquids to 1.1 specific gravity.
