Built for pumping chemicals and corrosives in hazardous locations, these Type 316 stainless steel pumps have a motor that's UL listed and CSA certified for use in Class I, Groups C & D and Class II, Groups F & G locations, unless noted. They have a mechanical seal made of Viton elastomers with a carbon rotating face and silicon carbide seat. Impellers are open and made of Type 316 stainless steel. Motors are totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC), rated for continuous duty, and generate 3450 rpm. Must be hardwired. Max. temp. is 250° F (or, if lower, the boiling point of liquid being pumped). Fluids must be compatible with wetted parts (materials in contact with solution). Wetted parts are carbon, silicon carbide, Type 316 stainless steel, and Viton.
